The PLAB exam has been designed to test the skills of doctors from around the world who aspire to work in the UK. This exam has two parts. Part 1 is an MCQ style exam which tests your ability to apply your knowledge, rather than an assessment of memory or ability to recite facts and figures.
Our course focuses on Part 2, which is an OSCE style examination. This test will consist of eighteen scenarios, each of which will be ten minutes long. This is broken down into two minutes of reading time, followed by eight minutes for you to complete your task.
The aim of the exam, according to the GMC is to assess whether you are equipped to manage day one of a Foundation Two (F2) doctor.
